LoupeKind / Brand framework / Version 1.0
A bold identity for a photographic tool with a useful job to do. The product takes the stage. The care comes through in how it works.

LoupeKind helps a photographer move through a large shoot: cull, compose, clean up and hand off. Show that capability clearly, with a confident invitation to try the product.
Make the tools and benefits easy to understand. Give culling, straightening, cropping and handoff their own visual space.
Show the workspace, the decision and the next step. Large product views carry more weight than generic mood imagery.
Clear reasons. Reversible choices. Untouched originals. Warmth is a property of the experience, not a decorative layer.
02 / The mark
An open photographic frame and a decisive selection stroke, held in a compact square. It reads as a product icon, a selected frame and a clear next step.
The wordmark uses DM Sans semibold with tight spacing. Write LoupeKind with a capital L and K in prose. No italic split, ornamental full stop, stamp or paper treatment is needed.
Keep at least a quarter-mark width clear on each side. Normal minimum size: 24 px, with the favicon as an exception. Preserve the open corner, proportions and contrast. This is the approved brand baseline for the forthcoming application conversion.
03 / Colour
Studio black makes photography and product views stand out. Peach is the primary action colour. Lime supports culling and selection. Violet distinguishes composition features. Use pale paper for a high-contrast section about control and trust.
Use dark text on the bright accents and light text on dark surfaces. Verdict states always have a visible word as well as a colour. Photography retains its own colour; UI contrast comes from the surrounding surface.
04 / Type
DM Sans / Semibold / Tight tracking / Compact leading
One contemporary sans-serif family gives the product a distinct, consistent voice. Display headlines are oversized, emphatic and usually uppercase. Short lines, strong contrast and selective peach emphasis create the hierarchy.
Body text stays sentence case with comfortable line spacing. Use uppercase only for short headings, indexes and labels. Mobile display sizes must fit their words rather than overflow. The self-hosted DM Sans font retains its SIL Open Font Licence.
05 / Product & photography

Give the studio enough space for its tools to make sense. Use purposeful tabs, frame selections and controls to explain the workflow.
A contact sheet explains selection. A crop grid explains composition. File routes explain handoff. Each visual does a job.
Label illustrative interfaces. No fake analysis scores, fabricated before/after results, invented customer proof or unsupported performance statistics.
Photography shows real-world photographic work, with a mix of people, details and environments. Use images with permission, preserve focal points across crops and keep text away from important subjects. Floating prints, handwritten notes and editorial scrapbook layouts are not part of this direction.
06 / Voice
The main sales message: forward momentum and a clear benefit.
The brand promise that sits underneath the capability. The photographer stays in control.
A specific invitation into culling, backed by verdicts and reasons.
Name features plainly and connect each to the photographer’s task. Keep calls to action visible near demonstrations and at the end of the page. Don’t bury the product in atmosphere or repeat soft language until the purpose gets lost.
Be precise about boundaries: optional AI can send frames to a chosen provider, XMP carries a subset of edits, RAW uses embedded JPEG previews, and object removal requires optional model setup and licence acceptance. Link detailed limitations where they help a user decide.
07 / Studio framework
The cleaner studio concept is the visual target for the application makeover: a photo-first workspace, a narrow tool rail, a consistent inspector and a connected filmstrip. Shared tokens define colours, type, spacing, control radii and semantic verdict states.
The application conversion must retain its real workflows, keyboard navigation, persistence, loading/error states and original-file safeguards. The website interaction is a design reference; it does not replace the full application specification.
08 / Working assets
The approved marks, palette, design tokens, written guidelines and studio-redesign handoff. A shared foundation for the website and the forthcoming application conversion.
